Siesta Key Community Info

Siesta Key is one of Sarasota County’s barrier islands located on Florida’s Gulf Coast and is connected to Sarasota by two bridges. Siesta Key is known for its award winning beaches, producing top awards such as, “Best sand beach in America, 2004.”

Siesta Key is an 8 mile long island running North and South parallel to Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Siesta Key’s average population consists of 24,000 full & part time residents and has a comforting temperature of 75 degrees. Siesta Key is located approximately 228 miles north of Miami, 138 miles South West of Orlando and 68 miles south of Tampa.
