Longboat Key Club and Resort is owned and operated by Key Club Associates, and purchase of a condominium unit at Inn on the Beach offers buyers attractive rental opportunities and entitles them to participation in Key Club Associates' Ownership Rental Program. Through this program, owners' units are rented by Key Club Associates on a rotational basis which allows for fair and equal usage of all suites, and unit owners receive one-half of the nightly room revenue. Owners may personally use fourteen (14) nights during the period from December 15 to April 30, plus fourteen (14) nights from May 1 to December 14. Owners wishing to stay more than these 28 days may do so at a special rate.

Inn on the Beach features extensively renovated buildings and suites, inside and out with four unique floor plans to choose from:
"A" Floor Plan, Club Suite: At approximately 650 square feet, this luxury suite provides all the vacation necessities for couples wanting to enjoy the myriad of activities at the Longboat Key Club and resort and nearby Sarasota.
"B" Floor Plan, Two-Bedroom with Lockout Feature: This unique, well-appointed 1,250 square-foot suite allows for separate entrances with its lockable connecting door to the guest room. This feature is a plus for corporate buyers who may want to offer travel and entertainment incentives to executives and customers.
"C" Floor Plan, Two-Bedroom: With a more conventional floor plan, this suite offers 1,250 square feet and is designed for those with larger families who want to spend time enjoying the island, the resort and its many activities.
"D" Floor Plan, Deluxe Two-Bedroom: The luxurious "Presidential Suite" of Inn on the Beach, this unique 1,700 square-foot suite makes an ideal corporate vacation getaway or a perfect shared retreat at the beach for two couples. Located at the end of the building, this suite opens to a balcony with sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico, Gulf-to-bay, resort pool or golf course fairways.
Owners who choose not to participate in the Inn on the Beach Ownership/Rental Program have no limits on their use of the unit for themselves and their guests. However, those not enrolled in Key Club Associates’ Ownership/Rental Program have amenity access only to the Longboat Key Club and Resort’s pool and private beach. A membership to Longboat Key Club must be purchased by the owner (and separately by any of the owner’s guests) in order for all parties to enjoy the multitude of other on-site resort amenities, such as dining, spa, golf, and tennis.
